There are several keys and locked gates down inside the depths of The Chasm, but it’s not always immediately clear which where to find the keys and which gates each one corresponds with, so we’re here to help. Here’s how to get the Miner’s Key and where to use it in Genshin Impact.
How to Find the Miner’s Key Inside The Chasm in Genshin Impact
There isn’t a very high chance that you’ll find this key unless you’re interacting with every single shiny spot you see on the ground, so we’ll show you the right spot to look. Head to this location:
The Miner’s Key is just north of The Serpent’s Cave, but you don’t actually need to fight this new world boss to get past it. Simply take any route that takes you around the Ruin Serpent’s arena.
The key can be obtained by interacting with a shiny spot on a gear that’s stuck in the ground on that path. This is what it’ll look like, and Kazuha is looking right at it in the image:
Where to Use the Miner’s Key
Thankfully, the gate you’re looking for isn’t too far away. Continue along that path and destroy the explosive barrels next to a stone wall to open up a shortcut to the first area in The Chasm. From there, make your way to this spot to find Treasure Hoarders and a locked gate:
Open the gate with the Miner’s Key to get your hands on Lumenspar along with an Orb of the Blue Depths key item that is used to complete another quest. Be careful though, because a named enemy, Skeld, will be waiting for you to enter.
