Get the Frostbearer Diagram

Version 2.3 of the game brings us back to the Dragonspine region in Mondstadt, and that’s exactly where you need to go to get this catalyst weapon.

The Frostbearer is a weapon that needs to be crafted, so you don’t need to pray to the RNG gods and pull for it in a weapon banner. Instead, you’ll need to raise the Frostbearing Tree to level 10. The tree’s level will go up when you return to it after collecting the Crimson Agate items that are found all over Dragonspine.

Forge the Frostbearer

Head on over to any blacksmith in Mondstadt, Liyue, or Inazuma to forge this weapon. It’ll cost you the following crafting materials:

  • x1 Northlander Catalyst Billet
  • x50 Crystal Chunk
  • x50 Starsilver
  • x500 Mora

The Frostbearer’s main stat is ATK% and its ability has a 60% chance to drop an icicle on an enemy when it gets hit by a normal attack. The icicle does 80% physical AOE damage, and enemies affected by Cryo are dealt 200% more damage by the icicle.
