How to Get Deathmatch Polearm in Genshin Impact

The Deathmatch is one of the few weapons that can’t actually be found as a regular pick-up or obtained through a wish using Primogems. To get it, you’ll need to purchase the Game’s Battle Pass. Once you reach Battle Pass level 30, you’ll be able to choose one of several Battle Pass weapons to add to your collection — and that includes the Deathmatch.

There are two passes to choose from: the Gnostic Hymn for $9.99 and Gnostic Chorus for $19.99. Both passes can reward you with the Deathmatch, but Gnostic Chorus comes with a few extra bonuses, like extra Fragile Resin and Namecards.

Is the Deathmatch Good?

The Deathmatch is one of the best four-star polearms in Genshin Impact because of its Crit Rate stat bonus and Gladiator weapon skill. Gladiator provides ATK and DEF buffs when the wielder is surrounded by two or more enemies, and an even greater ATK bonus if there are fewer than two enemies nearby.

Honestly, the Crit Rate stat increase alone is reason enough to get this weapon if you’re looking for a good one and don’t mind spending the $9.99 to get it. It works well with main DPS polearm users like Hu Tao and Xiao thanks to their high damage output and Crit Damage.

To level up the weapon, you’ll need Boreal Wolf’s Teeth and Fangs, Dead Ley Line Branches and Leaves, and Nectars from Whopperflowers.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get the Deathmatch polearm in Genshin Impact. Be sure to check out our guide wiki on the game for more tips, tricks, and general info if you’re looking for more pointers.
