Don’t Procrastinate on Clearing More Blocks

Tips and Tricks for Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow

In the beginning in Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow, there will certainly seem like far better ways to spend your time than clearing blocks of land. There are new characters to unlock, new buildings to toss up, and space missions to go on. Clearing blocks to expand your city is something that can easily slip to the back of your mind, but that’s the last thing you want to do.

Once you start to make a certain amount of progress in Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow, you will find yourself wanting (and needing) to set up multiple new buildings just to accomplish one task. If you haven’t been clearing space throughout your time with the game, this will run you into a bit of a stalemate as far as how you spend your time. Before you know it, you will run out of space and you’ll have nowhere to place the new buildings. This means you’ll have to clear one block at a time, which takes a few hours unless you want to sacrifice some pizza slices, or you’ll have to purchase new worker robots so you can have more than one space getting cleared at a time.

If You’re Going to Spend Money, Only Spend It On Pizza

Tips and Tricks for Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow

Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow is not a play to win game, but it is definitely packed with incentives to get you to spend your money on microtransactions. If the game finally does just enough to bait you into pulling out your wallet, do not spend it on in-game money. While getting money can feel like a slow process in the beginning, it easily picks up once you have more active buildings on the map. The buildings you’ll have in the beginning have far lower payouts and only give you a few bucks every time you collect. Once you get into other buildings like The Hip Joint or New New York Plaza, you’ll see there is a big increase in the payout here. Not to mention even small numbers add up if you simply have a lot of buildings on the map.

You also earn money from completing space missions or other random tasks in Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow, so don’t let the money drought in the very beginning make you feel like you need to buy more of it. If you’re sold on wanting to use your own money, buying pizza is a far better deal. Pizza is given to you far less frequently and it usually takes quite a bit of it to skip the wait time on most tasks.

Think About the World of Futurama When Making Decisions

Tips and Tricks for Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow

When you embark on space missions, you’ll find yourself making different decisions during encounters or random events. There will often be a very logical and well thought out answer available to choose. This is rarely ever the best choice in the game. As weird as it sounds, you want to go about every situation imagining you are truly in the world of Futurama.

Embrace your inner sarcasm in Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow. Don’t be afraid to be rude or pompous, and remember that Fry has had quite a bit of success from his hair-brained schemes. While some dialogue options will actually display a probability of success, whenever you’re going in blind you typically don’t want to seem like the reasonable one. The rewards seem to be far greater for going the opposite direction.

Don’t Ever Just Let the Battles Play Out

Tips and Tricks for Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow

There are tons of mobile games that feature passive forms of combat. Technically speaking, you don’t have to touch the screen at all for the battles in Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow to play out. The catch, however, is that you really shouldn’t let that happen. Tapping the screen at just the right time when the circles fill up below an enemy or your team triggers a critical hit or added defense, respectively. There is certainly a false sense of security here that you shouldn’t buy into.

Even without tapping the screen at all to earn critical hits or increase your defenses, you will survive early battles just fine and be able to complete space missions. As enemies become stronger, however, you will want to already have the hang of timing your taps. These battles in Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow can chip away at your team’s health and leave you desperately searching for health packs before you have even made it to your destination, so stay vigilant and don’t treat this as passive combat. Use your blocks, earn criticals, and keep an eye on each character’s meter at the bottom of the screen to unleash special attacks.

Only Upgrade Old Versions of Characters as Necessary

Tips and Tricks for Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow

In Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow you will find that you can get several different versions of certain characters. Amy has a nightlife version of herself. Fry has his robot costume. Bender has multiple different versions of himself that include Pharaoh Bender and Burglar Bender. Once you have unlocked a new version of a character, the base version doesn’t typically have much immediate utility left, so don’t waste your resources upgrading these characters unless it is absolutely necessary.

If there is a task that a character needs to perform that requires a certain level in Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow, upgrade them just enough to get the job done. You’ll find that upgrading the new version of the character is far more beneficial and gives you a much stronger team when it’s time to go on space missions. Keep in mind that the game will still treat the alternative costumes as one character, so you can’t have Fry and Robot Fry on your team for the same mission and they will no longer be available in the city, either, if the alternative version is busy. Often times upgrading to a new version of a particular character means it’s time to leave the old version behind and focus resources on the newer character.
