How to Give Amputees Prosthetics in Frostpunk
Frostpunk is pretty dark. Both in its aesthetics and themes. Really messed up, man. You’re going to have some tough decisions on your hands, and one of them that comes around a lot is cutting off your colonists’ limbs. When they become an amputee, they’ll not be able to work as normal. Until you give them a prosthetic, that is! Here’s how to do that.
First, you’re going to need the Factory. This can be researched under the Industry & Exploration tab, within the second tier. Once you’ve researched it, you’ll be able to build it for 30 wood, 15 steel, and one steam core. Employ some engineers in there, and you’ll be able to queue up some prosthetics. They’ll make them and then the limbs will be automatically dispersed among those in need.
Oh, you first need to make sure you have the ability to do this, though. You need to have passed the Prosthetics law found in your law book under Adaptation. It’s all the way south as of right now, below Care House. Once you have that, you’ll be set.
