Forza Horizon 5: How to Get Credits Fast & Easy

Forza Horizon 5‘s sprawling Mexico-inspired map has given us tens of hours of entertainment so far, and we only see many more hours spent drifting and grinding out wins in online races in the future. Of course, to purchase every car in the game or buy every player house, you’re going to need a steady stream of Credits in Forza Horizon 5. Here’s a handful of methods you can use to get Credits in Forza Horizon 5 fast and easy.

With the Willy’s Jeep exploit recently patched, players will now need to find alternatives for grinding out easy Credits in the game.

Getting Credits in Forza Horizon 5

1. Selling Unused Cars in the Auction House

Let’s get the obvious one out of the way first. It’s possible to sell any cars you simply don’t want or use in the Auction House from any of the Festival Sites.

You’ll set reserve and buy now prices and then put it up for auction. This doesn’t guarantee that the car will sell, however, as it comes down to how in-demand the car is within the community itself. If you’re trying to sell a car nobody wants, chances are you’re not going to sell it.

This isn’t the most consistent way for earning Credits in Forza Horizon 5, but it can help give you a much-needed boost every so often.

2. Grinding The Goliath Event

The Goliath event is the largest race in Forza Horizon 5 and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete (or slower if you’re driving a low-class, slower vehicle). However, for all that time spent behind the wheel, you’re going to get a hefty amount of Credits for your hard work.

While The Goliath’s AFK exploit also appears to have been patched, you can still grind out easy Credits by simply completing the race over and over again. Find a car that works for you, tune and upgrade it to set it apart from anything the AI could possibly drive, and then start racing.

It’s not going to net you the silly amounts of money and XP that the exploit did, but it’s probably the best way to earn easy Credits through actual races in the base game itself.

3. Complete Treasure Hunts & Seasonal Challenges

With each new Season that sweeps through the Mexico map, new Seasonal challenges and events will be made available. These can be checked from the ‘Horizon Playlist’ tab in the menus.

While there are a number of challenges you can complete for cosmetics, there are some that’ll net you rare cars, and others may even have Credits up for grabs as prizes.

In particular, make sure you’re completing the Treasure Hunts. We’ve already got a guide on where to find the Heights of Mulege Treasure Chest which gets you 50,000 Credits. It’s not a massive amount, but we’re not going to turn our noses up at it.

4. Get Wheelspins & Super Wheelspins from Car Mastery

When you’re earning skill points and increasing your Driver level, you’ll get Skill Points which can be spent on any vehicle’s Car Mastery tree.

The Car Mastery tree offers up all sorts of different perks, but you always have to start from the bottom left-hand corner of the square and work your way up and through it.

While the rewards vary depending on the car, you’ll often find things like Wheelspins or Super Wheelspins available to purchase a little further up the Car Mastery tree. We’d recommend finding a vehicle or two which have these and then grind out skill points to unlock it.

In particular, Super Wheelspins are where it’s at, giving you three prizes from a single spin, with some huge amounts of Credits up for grabs.

5. Spend Forzathon Points

Finally, make sure you’re heading to the Forzathon Shop and spending any of your hard-earned points from completing the Daily and seasonal challenges.

In the Forzathon Shop, you can spend your Forzathon Points on things like Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins, which, as previously mentioned can net you a healthy chunk of Credits in Forza Horizon 5.

Sometimes there are rare and exotic cars up for grabs, so you may not always want to spend your Forzathon Points on Wheelspins, but if you’re purely looking to grind out some cash, this is another viable option.
