The Fortnite week 13 challenges arrive this week, and see players tasked with scanning a Server at a Surface hub, destroying Crystal Trees, and even entering the Zero Point. But what is Fortnite’s Zero Point and how do you enter it? In this guide, we’ll give you all the answers you’re looking for.

What Is the Zero Point?

The Zero Point is the large, glowing orb at the center of the map. It played a key part in the transition from Season 4 to the current season.

During the Galactus event, Galactus tore apart The Ruins (at the center of last season’s map), to reveal the Zero Point. He attempts to consume it with his hands, but is defeated by the Avengers and Fortnite players just in time, saving the day.

The Zero Point, while still in-tact, is left exposed above the very center of Fortnite’s map.

How to Enter the Zero Point in Fortnite

To enter the Zero Point, simply pull out your glider as soon as you jump out the Battle Bus, and start flying directly towards it.

As long as you glide directly through it, you’ll enter the Zero Point and complete the week 13 challenge.

If you’re unable to glide over to the Zero Point at the beginning of the game, you can always use a Rift Fish, or simply build your way up to it. Though, be warned, if you try and build your way up to it, you’re making yourself an easy target for other players.

What Happens When You Enter It?

After you’ve entered the Zero Point, you’ll be shown a very brief trippy cinematic effect on-screen, before being thrown back down onto the map directly beneath the glowing orb.

That’s everything you need to know on how to enter the Zero Point in Fortnite. For more tips, tricks and guides, check out our wiki, search for Twnfinite, or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
