What the Fortnite Season 9 Map Looks Like & Everything That’s Changed
The new volcano was a big change for Season 8 and Season 9 has seen it all change again. This guide will show you what the Fortnite Season 9 map looks like, and everything that’s changed.
Over the last two seasons, the ice biome was added and the volcano are was added to the north east area of the map.
What the Map Looks Like
The Fortnite Season 9 map has changed quite drastically from this, too.
The volcano has been replaced by Pressure Plant, after an eruption, Titled Towers is now a futuristic version of itself, complete with air vents to fly through, and Mega Mall has been added south of where the volcano used to be.
Everything That’s Changed on Fortnite Season 9’s Map
So, unlike previous seasons, there have been changes across the map, rather than just in one corner of it. Where the volcano was located, Tilted Towers, and the Mega Mall area, are now all different. Below you’ll see a screenshot of Neo Tilted from above.
It’ll be pretty busy there for the first few days after the update launches. Here’s a screenshot of the map that can now be found in the game. As you can see, there’s quite a lot of new places to see. Surprisingly, though, many of the pirate themed locations from Season 8 remain where they were.
