Fortnite is mixing things up with some useful new mechanics in the latest season. Apart from cosmetics and weekly challenges, players can also look forward to another new system added to the game. Here’s what you need to know about the new Fortnite Season 8 Party Assist feature.

How Party Assist Works

If you’re not particularly fond of completing challenges, or if you’re having trouble doing them alone, you can use this new system to ask for help from your friends. As its name implies, the Party Assist allows players to ask for help from their party when completing daily or weekly challenges.

All you need to do is enable the feature on a specific challenge before a match starts in Fortnite Season 8. When it’s on, all of the progress your party make towards the assigned mission will also count as yours. You can both split the work and still reap the same rewards you would earn if you did the mission alone.

This makes it all the more easier for you and your friends to clear challenges in Fortnite Season 8. However, keep in mind that there are certain restrictions you need to keep in mind when using Party Assist.

Restrictions – Fortnite Season 8

Any players that are added to your party during matchmaking won’t be part of the Party Assist. The same goes for any teammates that come from large team modes such as Team Rumble.

You’ll want to squad up with your friends to make the most out of this useful feature. Make sure to have a full party as much as possible to complete the challenges quicker.

That about wraps up everything you need to know about the new Party Assist mechanic in Fortnite Season 8. If you need more tips and tricks on the newest season, be sure to check out our expansive wiki for other useful guides.
