Where to Destroy Snowflake Decorations in Fortnite

Recommended Videos

The 14 Days of Fortnite are coming to a close as are the challenges, including the one that tasks players with seemingly destroying the holiday decorations around the map. Here’s where to destroy snowflake decorations in Fortnite Battle Royale Season 7.

If you’ve played any of Fortnite Season 7, you know the theme this time around is holiday/winter spirit. There are trees lit up like Christmas, snowflakes decorating more urban areas and almost a quarter of the map covered in snow and ice.

Keeping up with the season, Epic Games introduced a new tier of challenges dubbed the 14 Days of Fortnite. Each day, for 14 days, players are tasked with a unique challenge, such as dancing in front of holiday trees.

That was day 9. On day 12, players received a challenge from Epic Games seemingly asking them to remove some of the snowflake decorations hanging around more urbanized areas such as Tilted Towers.

You need to destroy 12 (fitting considering this challenge came on day 12) by either axing them to oblivion or simply firing a few shots off into them.

Once a snowflake is shot down, it will be gone for the rest of the time that round meaning whoever destroys the snowflake first gets credit for that specific snowflake.

Before you can do any of this though, you need to know where to go. Here’s the locations of those snowflakes you’re looking for.

Unlike previous challenges, you’re best bet isn’t finding a specific location within one of the named map areas — instead, you should go to the more popular areas on the map, such as Tilted Towers or Pleasant Park.

Here’s a map showing you where to find the different snowflake locations in Fortnite:

If you’re having trouble seeing these areas on the map, or just want a quick list of handy locations to check, we’ve got you covered. Here are those snowflake decoration locations in text format below:

  • Pleasant Park
  • A little spot just southeast of Pleasant Park
  • Tilted Towers
  • Dusty Divot
  • Retail Row
  • Salty Springs
  • Paradise Palms
  • Fatal Fields

Within these areas, there are usually at least three or four, sometimes more, hanging out in the open. They aren’t hard to find as they usually stick out like a sore thumb. We’ve included an image of what the snowflakes look like down below:

It’s important to note that there are dozens of other players that will likely drop in the same areas with hopes of destroying snowflakes too.

As such, while an area like Tilted Towers might have enough snowflakes for you to complete the challenge in one match, it’s unlikely that you’ll be the one to shoot all of them down because of the number of players that typically drop in Tilted Towers.

Furthermore, dropping in Tilted Towers requires you to be on your A game as you’ll likely get yourself into at least one firefight (not to mention that you’ll give your location away once you start shooting at snowflakes).

That’s okay, though, because there are another seven locations with plenty of snowflakes to shoot. That’s all you need to know for where to destroy snowflakes in Fortnite.
