Fortnite Season 5: Week 1 Secret Star Location

Where the Week 1 Secret Star’s Location Is in Fortnite Season 5

Recommended Videos

Just as we saw in Season 4 of Fortnite with the Blockbuster challenges, Season 5’s Road Trip challenges task players with completing all challenges from different weeks. If you want to get everything, you’ll need to complete all challenges from seven weeks. However, there’s also a Secret Star on the map you can find for a free Battle Pass tier each time you complete a week’s challenges. Here’s where you can find the week 1 Secret Star’s location in Fortnite Season 5.

First things first, the week 1 Secret Star’s location on Fortnite’s map is hinted at by the postcard loading screen you unlock for completing that week’s challenges. The week 1 loading screen postcard shows a character looking at a map of the umbrella-shaped trench to the west of Lazy Links, so guess where we’re going to head to check out the location?

Yep, the umbrella-shaped trench. Specifically, you’re going to want to head to the very north section of the umbrella, and look for the ledges that almost act as steps up and out of it. Just to the right of some rocks right by the left side of one of the ledges, you should see the week 1 Secret Star appear. Simply press X on Xbox One, Square on PS4, or E on PC to interact with it.

The Secret Star will grant you 10 stars for your Season 5 Battle Pass, essentially bumping you up a full tier. So if you’re wondering just how you’re going to reach Tier 100 before the end of Season 5, the Secret Stars each week will definitely help.

That’s all you need to know to find the week 1 Secret Star location in Fortnite Season 5. For more tips, tricks, and information, be sure to check out our Season 5 wiki.
