Completing a Lap at Motorboat Mayhem

First things first, it’s worth us pinpointing the exact location of Motorboat Mayhem so you know where you’ll need to land to complete the challenge. We’ve marked this on the map below.

Once you arrive here, you’ll simply want to find one of the nearby boats and then look for the start line. This can be found on the north side of the main building here.

When you’re here, you’ll need to wait for the 15 second countdown to finish. When it does, you should see large semi-transparent rings appear on the water.

You’ll need to steer the boat through these, which includes going up the conveniently-placed ramps.

The good news is that you don’t have to complete the lap in a set amount of time, so you can take your time making sure you don’t venture off the track, or don’t get eliminated by nearby players looking for easy kills. It took us about 1 minute and 15 seconds to finish a lap of Motorboat Mayhem, though we did make a little navigational mistake. You can check out our video below.

Once you’re back at the start line, you’ll have completed the challenge. You should now get an on-screen notification alerting you that the challenge is completed and the 35,000 XP is all yours.

That’s everything you need to know on completing a lap of Motorboat Mayhem in Fortnite. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding guide wiki.
