With the first week four quest of the Resistance questline for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 done it’s time to move on to what is next. Now that we have dealt with aquatic relays we now must move on to how to transmit data to the drone in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

Just as with the previous quest, you won’t get to the actual data transmitting until you have cleared the beginning objective. This starts with “Establish Device Uplink near a Seven Outpost.”

We have had to do this exact objective before, and there are six possible locations to visit. They are are all found here on the map:

  1. We went to the Seven Outpost northeast of The Daily Bugle. You should follow our path to get through the quest at a better pace.

  2. Here is where you will find the hologram audio log that is needed to get to the main objective.

  3. Coming in contact with the hologram audio log will clear the Establish Device Uplink objective and give you the real quest of “Transmit data to the drone.”

    This quest actually dies back to the Data Scraper planted on an airship in Resistance week 2.

  4. You won’t need to leave the area to complete this quest.

  5. If you continue ahead around the other building you will find the drone.

  6. Approach the drone and hold whatever button is shown beside the interact prompt to transmit the dat to the drone and complete the quest.
