Fortnite Gas Station Locations

To refuel a car, you’ll need to look out for a gas station. You can check your map for all the Fortnite Gas Station Locations, as shown in the screenshot below.

Refueling Cars in Fortnite

When you get to a gas station, you’ll need to park your car or truck close to one of the gas pumps. We’ll explain why later on.

Hop out of your car and interact with the gas pump by pressing X on Xbox One, Square on PS4, or E on PC.

Face your car and press and hold RT/ R2/ RMB to start pumping gas into your car. This is why you needed to park close. You can only drag the fuel pump so far before it snaps back out of your grip. Once you’re close enough to your car, hold down RT/R2/ RMB and you’ll see the fuel percentage slowly start increasing.

Wait until this reaches 100% and you’re fully fueled and ready to go.

Be warned, that once a car reaches the bottom of its fuel gauge while you’re driving, it will completely stop and you won’t be able to drive it any further, so always make sure to get to a gas station before this happens.

Gas stations can go Boom!

Gas stations are also incredibly explosive, and enemies will likely take advantage of the huge damage they can deal to you while you’re refueling your car in Fortnite. Always make sure to check around before fueling up to catch anyone trying to ambush you. If you drive into one of the gas pumps, they’ll also explode, preventing you from using them, and potentially dealing damage to you as well.

That’s everything you need to know on how to refuel your car in Fortnite. For more tips, tricks, and guide, be sure to check out our Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 guide wiki, or have a browse through more of our coverage below.
