How to Get the Sunbird Spray in Fortnite

The first thing you’ll need to do to get Fortbyte 69 is unlock the Sunbird Spray. This is a reward for reaching Tier 26 on the Battle Pass. It’s not part of the paid Battle Pass, either, so any player can get their hands on this Fortbyte.

Once you’ve got it, simply head on over to the locker and equip it as one of your emote slots. This will make it easier for you to quickly use the Sunbird Spray on the frozen waterfall in the game, as chances are there’s going to be a bunch of other players doing the same thing as you at the same time.

Where to Use the Sunbird Spray on a Frozen Waterfall for Fortbyte 61

If you hadn’t already guessed, you’re making your way to the snow biome in the southwest section of the map. Specifically, you’re heading to the mountain just southeast of Snobby Shores with the Viking Ship on the top. It’s also known as Viking Village. Well, since things got particularly chilly in Season 8, the waterfall on the south side of this mountain has been frozen.

As such, make your way to grid coordinates B6 and you’ll see the giant frozen waterfall pouring down the side of the mountain. Then it’s simply a case of pressing up on the d-pad, selecting the Sunbird Spray and using it on any part of the frozen waterfall in Fortnite to make Fortbyte 61 appear.

Once it does, walk on over to it, and press Y on Switch, Square on PS4, X on Xbox One, and E on PC to pick up Fortbyte 61 and add it to your collection.

That’s all you need to know to track down Fortbyte 61 by using the Sunbird Spray on a Frozen Waterfall in Fortnite. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our Fortnite Season 9 guide wiki.
