Fortnite: How to Don a Disguise & Strike 3 Resonant Crystals

Fortnite’s Spire Questline has been tasking players with completing a number of collectible-based challenges over the past few weeks. The latest quest is Fortnite’s Don a Disguise guide. Here, players need to find and wear a disguise and then strike three Resonant Crystals while wearing the disguise to return back to their normal skin appearance.

How to Don a Disguise in Fortnite

First off, you need to find the disguise. This can be found on the floor in the southeast of The Spire at the center of the island.

It’s sitting just next to a wooden fence, where we’ve marked with the spray arrow below.

Walk over to this and press X/ Square/ Y/ E to interact with and don a disguise in Fortnite.

Strike Three Resonant Crystals

The first Resonant Crystal can be found just west of where you found the disguise. Build your way up the cliff behind the fence past the first building, up to the top of the cliff. You’ll find the first crystal lodged into the wall here.

From there, head down the stairs directly in front of you, then build two ramp structures at the bottom to reach the ledge overhead on your right.

Jump onto this ledge and find another of the Fortnite Resonant Crystal wedged in the back wall of the building right in front of you.

Head out of this room using the entrance to your left, head down the stairs and you’ll find the third and final Resonant Crystal in the wall on your right-hand side.

Fortnite Don a Disguise Quest Bugged?

Some players are reporting that the Don a Disguise quest is currently bugged if you’re eliminated while wearing the disguise, before you could strike all three Resonant Crystals.

This should be addressed in Fortnite’s upcoming update due to drop next Tuesday, April 13, though a fix may come sooner given the severity.
