If you’ve listened to the radio anytime in the past year or so, you’ll probably have heard Tones And I’s ‘Dance Monkey.’ The song mixes incredibly catchy lyrics and a boppin’ backtrack to make for a certified floor-filler. Well, the good news for any fans of the song that also like to grind out dubs in Fortnite, there’s an emote that plays the song and has a funky dance to go with it. Here’s how to get the Dance Monkey emote in Fortnite.

Getting the Dance Monkey Emote in Fortnite

  1. To get the Dance Monkey emote, head to the Fortnite Item Shop from within the Battle Royale mode.

  2. Scroll to the very top to find the ‘Featured’ section. Here, you’ll find the ‘Dance Monkey’ emote available for 300 V-Bucks.

  3. Select the ‘Dance Monkey’ emote from the shop and confirm that you want to purchase it.

    This will mean you’ll need to either already have the V-Bucks in your account, or purchase them with your hard-earned cash. If you’ve bought the premium Battle Pass, you can also earn V-Bucks by leveling it up.

  4. Purchase it before 3pm PT/ 6pm ET on Jan. 20, 2022 before it leaves the Item Shop.

    The emote is part of the ‘Icon Series’ and its description reads: “A slow, shy shimmy for the battlefield. Introduced in Chapter 3, Season 1.”
