For Honor: How to Get Reputation & What It Does

How to Get Reputation – For Honor

Recommended Videos

For Honor’s multiplayer is the big focus of the game, letting you choose from 12 different heroes who are part of three factions. Each hero can level up, unlocking various Feats and bonuses in the process. There’s a max level cap of 20 for every character, with something called Reputation also factoring into things.

Reputation is basically For Honor’s version of prestige, allowing you to reset your character’s level all the way back down to 1 but earning a Reputation point in the process. This not only gives you bragging rights, but certain pieces of equipment in For Honor require Reputation points in order to equip. Keep in mind, however, that once you reset your level, you’ll lose access to the Feats you’ve unlocked by leveling up, unless you pay the flat 4,000 Steel rate to unlock everything. Characters can also be leveled up to 20 multiple times, earning multiple reputation points.

A good way to increase the experience you gain and reach that Reputation point faster is by taking advantage of the Orders menu on the multiplayer world map. Hit the L1 or LB button and you’ll bring up the menu and see various tasks that will reward you with large amounts of Steel and XP. Make it a priority to complete these while you’re playing and you’ll level even faster.
