If you round the corner and see two other combatants staring at you, try to escape before they can engage. Another time to book it is when you are playing domination and your health is starting to get dangerously low. You can see which hero your team is picking during the deployment screen on the right-hand side by their names. While the enemy team’s composition will be hidden at first, it’s always important to pick what works best for the group you have.

Always try to hold at least two points at all times, as this will increase the number of points you earn over time as you slay both human and A.I. foes. This also goes for killing the base soldier in For Honor, as they will give your team points. Once a team passes 1,000 points, then you can eliminate the remaining enemy team once and for all. Make sure to never ignore the objective or kill the base enemies, as they are critical to not only leveling up but winning.

Remember, you can always see both the enemy and ally death spots, so make sure to know what you’re getting yourself into before running out of the main spawn.
If you find yourself with a small break in the combat, try and revive your allies. It doesn’t take long and getting them up at full health can make a huge difference in a fight. Always try and remain together, otherwise it can be too easy for players to become isolated and then slaughtered on the battlefield.
