For Honor: How to Sprint

How to Sprint – For Honor

Recommended Videos

While you’ll spend most of your time strategically planning out the next strike with your sword in For Honor’s closed beta this weekend, there are going to be times you need to get on the move, and fast. For these instances, you’re gonna want to know how to sprint.

Sprinting in For Honor is just like how it is in most other games these days. All you need to do is press down on the left stick of your DualShock 4 or Xbox One controller and your character will begin running. This is particularly useful if you need to quickly get out of an intense battle, or if you need to get back into the action after respawning.

You’ll also want to make use of sprinting to quickly counter enemy attacks on your captured points, or to quickly ambush them while they’re caught off-guard. It’s worth noting, though, that sprinting straight into a huge group of enemy soldiers and heroes will probably see you fall quickly. Get close to the battle, and then make your way into the chaos with your guard up.
