For Honor: How to Feint

How to Feint in For Honor

Recommended Videos

Triumphing in For Honor isn’t about running up to your opponent and button mashing like your life depended on it. This isn’t just some regular ol’ fighting game, you’ll need to outsmart your opponent. This is where knowing how to feint can give you the upper-hand when taking on other players out on the battlefield. Here’s how you can feint in For Honor, too.

For those who are unaware of what it is, a feint is when you basically fake attack your opponent. It’s the perfect move to use to outsmart your opponent and start an aggressive counter attack. You’ll be doin’ it in no time!

To pull off a feint in For Honor, first, you must perform a heavy attack with R2 on PS4 or RT on Xbox One. As the animation is then playing out, you’ll want to quickly press Circle or B to cancel the heavy attack. This will allow you to change your attack stance while your opponent is still waiting for your heavy attack to land. Thus, this then gives you the perfect opportunity to drop a few light attacks or one heavy attack before they have time to recover.

It’s the perfect crime! Fooling your enemy into thinking you’re striking in one direction, when you’re really going in the other. It’s really quite useful in a game like there, where what body part you’re aiming at is incredibly important.

Knowing how to feint and parry are advanced combat tactics which will allow you to dominate the battlefield if used correctly.
