Three Stars – FNaF: Sister Location

SPOILERS AHEAD! YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location is a lot like other games in the franchise in that it’s full of secrets and Easter eggs. Like in previous iterations, there are multiple endings and challenges within the game, each of which unlock a symbol on your main menu. In Sister Location, you’ll be unlocking stars, three of them to be exact. Here’s how to get each and every one.

Star One

The first star is the easiest (we use that word loosely) to obtain as it doesn’t require anything particularly special. All you have to do is beat all five nights and get the basic ending of you having your body stolen by Ennard. That’s it.

Star Two

This one is obtained by getting the second ending of the game, which also reveals a bit about the animatronics found in FNaF: Sister Location. The only problem is that obtaining this is pretty random, so don’t lose hope. A special mini-game has the chance to trigger upon your death. It may not happen the first time you die, so just keep losing until you come across the 2D mini-game that puts you in control of Baby. You’ll have to deliver cupcakes to each child located in the level quickly.

When done, an ice cream cone will appear just before the level’s end. Instead of going to the end, turn back and race to the very beginning of the level. If you make it back in time, you will see the second ending where Baby kills a young girl by snatching her into the animatronic’s storage tank.

Star Three

The third star in this Five Nights at Freddy’s Installment cannot be unlocked until you’ve obtained the second star. That’s because beating that mini-game will grant you a Keycard item that is used to trigger the location for the game’s final ending, which is known as the “Fake Ending.” It’s called the Fake Ending because if you brighten your screen during the credits, it actually says those exact words at the bottom of the screen in the left corner.

Fake or not, this is the hardest challenge to complete. First, you must make it to the fifth night and do everything as normal. Baby will have you remove her endoskeleton to he scooping room, which she will then guide you to, keeping you away from the deadly clutches of Ballora. Instead of listening to her directions, however, you’re going to want to turn all the way to the right and hold down W + D. This will allow you to enter the Sister Location’s secret room. Input the code 1983 in the keypad next to the Celebrate poster. This is where things get tricky.

Ennard is your final challenge and is a tough one to survive. You’ll have access to panels and monitors, but power is limited. Keep an eye on the monitors and close the panels as needed. You must survive until 6 A.M. so stay vigilant. Once you’ve made it, you’ll be back at home watching a movie, only to have Ennard’s endoskeleton show up in your house right before the screen cuts to black. You’ll get your ending and your final Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location star.
