Fire Emblem Three Houses is a massive and sprawling JRPG. In no time, you’ll have access to a map that’s filled with a number of locations that sometimes are nearby and sometimes very far apart. That’s where fast traveling comes in, but before you can fast travel, you must know how it’s done. Here’s how to fast travel in Fire Emblem Three Houses.
How to Fast Travel in Fire Emblem Three Houses
When you first begin your journey in Fire Emblem Three Houses, you’ll find yourself constricted to the game’s opening areas and the school, which serves as a main hub of sorts for a lot of the game. As you progress through the game, you’ll discover new areas.
Sometimes, these areas are just a quick jaunt away but other times, they’ll be so far that heading there by foot doesn’t seem like a great use of your time. Fortunately, you have the ability to fast travel.
Before you’re able to fast travel, you must first progress through the game enough to discover a brand new location. It can be any location but it must be somewhere new.
Once you’ve discovered a new location in the Monastery, you’ll be able to fast travel to it. All you have to do is walk into the new area and it’ll count as being discovered.
To fast travel, bring the map up with R. Then, use the left stick to select the area you want to travel to. Once you’ve selected where you want to go, press A. Pressing A confirms where you’ll be fast traveling to and after a quick loading screen, you’ll have arrived at the location you selected on the map.
