Three Houses is the latest game in the long-running Fire Emblem series and looks to be one of the best. The Japanese tactical RPG’s are all about choice: choice in how you command your troops on the battlefield and choice in how you spend your downtime off of it.
And while the English voice acting in Three Houses is emotive and well-performed, some may find themselves wanting to play the game in its native Japanese. Doing so is no trouble at all, and so without further ado, here’s how to change to Japanese voices in Fire Emblem Three Houses.
How to Change to Japanese Voices in Fire Emblem Three Houses
Changing the language to Japanese is easy peasy. The only thing to remember is that it can only be done from the main menu, so if you are in-game save your progress and quit back to the main menu.
Once there, select the Extras options, and navigate to the Voiceover Options tab. Here, select Japanese, and voila. Once you load your game again, all spoken dialogue will now be in Japanese, which is much more appropriate for an anime-esque adventure like Three Houses.
And that’s it, that’s how you change to Japanese voices. Remember, you can always change back if you get tired of just reading subtitles, just make sure to quit back to the main menu to do so.
