Fire Emblem Heroes: How to Level Up Heroes Fast

How to Level Up – Fire Emblem Heroes

Recommended Videos

Having to level up your heroes is a staple of any Fire Emblem game, so it’s no surprise that it has made a return once again in this mobile title. In Fire Emblem Heroes, players are given a large roster of fighters to choose from as they progress, however, they will all start at level 1 when obtained. This means you will need to level them up by either participating in battles or via crystals you will earn as a reward for completing objectives.

Leveling up in Fire Emblem Heroes means that with each new progression, that particular hero will gain stat increases. This allows them to do more damage, have a larger health pool, and simply have better survivability on the battlefield. There are 20 base ranks that can be obtained through normal means, as anything beyond that will require the use of badges.

However, this can be annoying if you are farther into the game and want to have a hero hit their max potential quickly for higher level missions. One of the first things we recommend doing is upgrading your castle to at least level 3 as this will give every one of your characters a permanent experience boost by 60%. This will cost Orbs, however, it’s fairly cheap early on and you can consider it a long-term investment. In order to do this, just click the green button in the top right corner of the Home menu to bring up your Castle options.

Another good way to level up in Fire Emblem Heroes is by entering the Training Tower in the battle menu. This produces random scenarios and will not only reward your party with experience, but valuable items such as crystals and badges. These are endlessly repeatable and will constantly offer a good source of XP for users. Combining this with your Castle upgrades means that you will be able to rank up your Fire Emblem Heroes characters in a far shorter amount of time than usual.
