How to Get Gold Marks Fast in Fire Emblem Echoes
Money has always been important in Fire Emblem games, and it’s no different in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Things don’t work quite the same as in past games, however, as you can’t actually buy new weapons or equipment, but use money in the form of Silver and Gold Marks to upgrade them.
Special and unique weapons will cost significantly more to upgrade, and some of them require Gold Marks instead of Silver ones. Unfortunately, Gold Marks are much harder to come by in Fire Emblem Echoes. Basically, the only way of getting them is by defeating certain enemies or bosses in battle. The game will reward you with Gold Marks at set intervals, allowing you to upgrade your weapons. You can also find these in dungeons, although they’re few and far between.
You can also receive them by selling rare weapons at the Forge. It’s unlikely that you’d want to do this, however, as you’d be getting rid of a valuable weapon that you can’t get back. You’ll want to be selective with what you spend these incredibly rare Marks on, as you aren’t going to be getting a ton of them throughout the game.
