Square Enix has finally released the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Complete with some new gameplay content and stunning 4K visuals on the PS4 Pro, this 1997 classic has been well and truly brought up to modern-day standards. If you’re not that fussed about the cutscenes or general story in the game, you might just want to get straight back into the action at any possible moment. Here’s how to skip cutscenes in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
Skipping Cutscenes in Final Fantasy 7 Remake
First off, we’d start by recommending that you don’t skip the cutscenes unless you’ve already seen them. They look absolutely incredible thanks to 4K and HDR compatibility (as long as you have a monitor capable of displaying in 4K HDR) and still blow a lot of other games out the water when just in Full HD.
That being said, you’re free to do whatever you want. To skip cutscenes in Final Fantasy VII Remake, you’ll want to press the Options button on your PS4 controller when you’re in a cutscene, and then select the ‘Skip’ option. It’s nice and simple, as long as you know the option is there.
After pressing the option, the game might take a few seconds to get you back into the gameplay, but it’s still a darn sight faster than sitting through the cutscene.
There you have everything you need to know on how to skip cutscenes so you can just dive right on back into the action. Head over to our guide wiki for more tips and tricks, or give more of our coverage a browse below.
