Before we get into how to do them, it’s worth noting that a selection of Icons will have SBCs released over the course of the next year or so. It’s started with three (Luis Figo, Javier Zanetti, and Edwin van de Sar), but more should come sometime soon.

To see what the requirements are, you need to head to the Play tab in FIFA 21 and then select Squad Building Challenges. From there, tab over to the Icon tab, where you’ll find full and loan versions of each Icon available. Just keep scrolling to the one you want to complete.

Each one will have a different set of objectives, which will depend on how good they are and what their price on the market is. The likes of Ronaldo and Pele, if they ever appear, will be more expensive that the goalkeepers, for example.

You’ll then just need to complete the challenges there, with one squad being rare bronzes and the other being rare silvers in each set. Then, the rest will be made of squads between 81 and 89 rated. So far, none have needed Icons to be included, but that could change as more desirable cards are released.

The requirements for each will be different, so we can’t explain how to complete each individual Icon SBC, but check out our guide on the cheapest high rated players for some inspiration on what to turn in.
