UCL Cards work a bit differently to how they did last year. Instead of being +1 upgrades of their base cards, they are the same but blue and with some Champions League patterns around the outside.

How you actually get them has changed as well.

Update: As of Tuesday, Oct. 22, all UCL Rare and Common players are in packs, alongside their gold counterparts, and will remain there until the end of FUT 20. You can also get them from special UCL Group Stages Season Objectives, or buy them from the transfer market.

How to Get Champions League Players (UCL Cards) in FIFA 20

As of right now, there is only one way to get them – to buy them off the transfer market. Any that were packed earlier in the week, when they were accidentally available, can be sold, so you’ll find a few on the market.

However, they’ll be more expensive than their normal variants, since they’re rare, so investing in them might not be smart.

However, EA Sports will no doubt add other ways to get them sometime soon. The assumption was that it would be when the UCL games were happening this week, but that didn’t happen.

You might be able to pack Champions League players sometime soon, and UCL Upgrade SBCs might be added to FIFA 20, allowing you to get untradable versions. We will be sure to update this piece as more ways are released.
