Ratings Refresh sees players who have had good seasons so far have their base stats upgraded. Any existing base gold cards won’t be changed, but a new version will be released into packs to replace them.

Then, if the new rating overlaps with any special cards that have been released over the last few months, they might be upgraded.

FIFA 20 Ratings Refresh Start Date

The start date of FIFA 20’s Ratings Refresh hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we can make a pretty educated guess at it.

Last year, for FIFA 19, it began on Feb. 15, a couple of weeks after the European January transfer market closed. It was slightly later than in previous years, but it made a lot of sense.

It allowed for all the transfers to be confirmed – not that there were many interesting ones to shout about – and it was further into the season to allow for better evaluations of player performances.

This year, the start date will likely be at around Valentines Day, Friday, Feb. 14. Promos almost always start at 1pm ET on Fridays, so that would be the right day if the trends continue from last year.

Therefore, just keep an eye out on the transfers over the next couple of weeks and wait for the promo to be revealed.

We will update you here once the start date is finalised and revealed by EA Sports.
