We’re in the middle of the Team of the Group Stage promo right now but FIFA 20‘s biggest SBC so far is here. Lionel Messi has won November’s La Liga Player of the Month award, and you can get his new card. So that you can add him to your club, here’s everything you need to know about how to complete the La Liga POTM Messi SBC in FIFA 20.
As you’d expect, the SBC is very, very expensive. The card is great too – it is a 96 rated Messi after all.
However, the question is whether it is worth doing for the estimated price, considering it is untradable. The answer is no, really. At first glance, I think it is coming in at well over 2 million coins, which is far too much when the 96 TOTGS is not much more, and you can sell it once you’re done.
The best thing to do if you can afford the SBC is to just buy the tradable one. Here are the La Liga POTM Messi requirements:

How to Complete La Liga POTM Messi SBC in FIFA 20
Honestly, if you’re going to do this SBC, you’re just going to have to bite the bullet and buy the players you need, particularly for the 88 and 89 rated squads.
The likes of Jan Oblak, Toni Kross, Diego Godin, Luka Modric, Allison, and Luis Suarez are musts really if you want to hit an 89 rated squad.
They will shoot up in price in FIFA 20, so you’ll just have to pay what they cost, since you don’t have many other options.
For the low rated squads in the Messi SBC, you’re probably best to use one or two of the really high rated players and balance the rest of the squad with much lower ones, rather than buying a load of 86s and 87s. It’ll be cheaper that way.
Most of the squads don’t require much chemistry, so you can be pretty lazy with the links you get and the positioning of the players. As long as you have links like Handanovic to Godin or Lloris to Vertonghen/Alderweireld, you’ll have the chemistry you need without any problems.
If you need any TOTW players in the Messi SBC teams, be sure to use one from the current active FIFA 20 squad since they’ll stay cheaper by being actively packed.
Di Maria will be good for the Argentina player, Suarez will be good for the Barcelona player, and use someone like Courtois for the La Liga player you need.
