EA Sports’ annual soccer game series releases once again this month with FIFA 19. As excitement builds, fans of the game will want to know exactly when they are able to play the game. The answer isn’t as straight forward as you may hope. The game has multiple different versions and comes to different platforms at different times. So that you’re a bit clearer, we’ll run down what the preload and unlock times and dates are for FIFA 19 on each platform.

If you’re an Xbox One player, you’ll be able to preload and play the game before anyone else. FIFA 19 comes to EA Access on Sept. 20, and if you have pre-ordered the game, you can preload it now so that you can jump in the moment it goes live on the Sept. 28. The exact unlock time has not be revealed yet, however.

PlayStation 4 players are more in the dark, with the earliest they can play the game being the Sept. 25. This is when the Ultimate and Champions Editions are released. It’s also unclear when they’ll be able to pre-load the game, but it is usually a few days before the release. It will probably be a few days before the special editions of FIFA 19 release.

PC is in a similar boat to Xbox One, with them getting early access through Origin Access Premier. However, it is still unclear when they are able to preload the game. We will be sure to update you here once the exact preload times become clearer for any of the platforms.

That’s all you need to know about what the preload and unlock times are for FIFA 19. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our FIFA 19 wiki guide.
