Here are our FIFA 19 Team of the Week 5 (TOTW 5) predictions.

With this past weekend being right in the middle of an international break, there are pros and cons when it comes to the TOTW. First of all, it’s difficult to predict. With so many teams playing at different times, all across the world, it’s difficult to know which ones EA Sports will take into account.

However, previous years have shown that international break TOTWs tend to be great for high rated players. Since it’s predominantly the best players in the world that head out for international duty, they’re the only ones to choose from. It looks like it’ll be the same case for TOTW 5. Here are our predictions for FIFA 19 Team of the Week 5 (TOTW 5) in Ultimate Team:

  • Guilherme – GK – Lokomotiv Moscow – 81 OVR – Five saves in Russia’s 2-0 win over Turkey.
  • Santiago Arias – RB – Atletico Madrid – 84 OVR – Made two assists for Colombia in their 4-2 win.
  • Virgil Van Dijk – CB – Liverpool – 86 OVR – At least one Netherlands player will make TOTW 5. Van Dijk is the most likely choice because he scored the opening goal and kept a clean sheet in their 3-0 win vs. Germany. He’s also the most popular Premier League CB and will sell packs.
  • Eric Bailly – CB – Manchester United – 84 OVR – Scored and assisted once in Ivory Coast’s 4-0 win.
  • Sergio Ramos – CB – Real Madrid – 92 OVR – Didn’t keep a clean sheet in either of Spain’s games this weekend, and they lost the second, but Ramos scored against both Wales and England.
  • Alex Sandro – LB – Juventus – 87 OVR – Scored once and kept a clean sheet for Brazil vs. Saudi Arabia.
  • Valeri Qazaishvili – LM – San Jose Earthquakes – 81 OVR – Scored two goals in Georgia’s 3-0 win over Andorra.
  • Carlos Vela – CAM – LA FC – 84 OVR – Scored twice and assisted twice in 4-2 win in the MLS.
  • James Rodriquez – CAM – Bayern Munich – 89 OVR – Scored and assisted once in Colombia’s 4-2 win.
  • Aleksandar Mitrović – ST – Fulham – 81 OVR – Scored both goals in 2-0 win over Montenegro.
  • Romelu Lukaku – ST – Manchester United – 88 OVR – Scored both goals in Belgium’s 2-1 win over Switzerland.

The full team will be revealed via EA Sports’ Twitter account at 10am ET on Wednesday, and the players will be released into packs at 1pm the same day.

That does it for our FIFA 19 Team of the Week 5 (TOTW 5) predictions. For more tips and tricks on the game, check out our FIFA 19 wiki guide.
