All of the big European leagues are back underway as of this week and the Premier League is in its second week. Here are our FIFA 19 Team of the Week 43 (TOTW 43) predictions.
How to Get Team of the Week Players
- Open Packs
Team of the Week players can be found in any gold pack. If the player has a base silver card, they can also be found in silver packs, and the case is the same for players with base bronze cards in FIFA 19.
- Buy Them From the Transfer Market
All TOTW players can be purchased from the transfer market. At this stage in the game, most will be cheap, but high rated or desirable cards will be expensive.
What Team of the Week Players Are & What’s Different
Team of the Week players in FIFA 19 are just slightly upgraded versions of existing players in the game. They are awarded for good performances in real-world football and players’ rating gradually get higher as they get more and more in-forms.
You’ll notice them due to the card being black rather than gold.

FIFA 19 Team of the Week 43 (TOTW 43) Predictions
- Steve Mandanda – GK – Marseille – 85 OVR – Helping keep a clean sheet at Nantes, having faced 16 shots, Mandanda started the season well.
- Miquel Layun – RWB – Monterrey – 82 OVR – The Mexican wing-back scored one and assisted the other in Monterrey’s 2-1 win over Toluca.
- Kaan Ayhan – CB – Fortuna Dussedorf – 86 OVR – In his team’s surprise 3-1 away win at Werder Bremen, Ayhan scored once.
- Leandro Gonzalez Pirez – CB – Atlanta United – 81 OVR – In a 2-0 win at Portland Timbers, Pirez scored the second goal.
- Dani Ceballos – CM – Arsenal – 84 OVR – Making his first start at the Emirates, Ceballos was the star of the show, showcasing his flair and commitment, getting two assists in the process.
- Kevin De Bruyne – CM – Manchester City – 94 OVR – Making up for last season’s lost time already, the Belgian got two assists in City’s 2-2 draw with Spurs. How they didn’t win, however, is anyone’s guess.
- Santi Cazorla – CM – Villarreal – 86 OVR – Villerreal may have drawn four each, but Santi scored his 100th career goal and assisted another.
- Houssem Aouar – CM – Stepping up in Ndombele’s absence, the young Frenchman scored once and assisted twice. Since we’re unlikely to see two Lyon players in one squad, Aouar may miss out in place of the next player on this list.
- Memphis Depay – LW – Lyon – 87 OVR – Starting the season off well, the ex-Manchester United man scored twice and assisted another in Lyon’s 6-0 win.
- Teemu Pukki – ST – Norwich City – 81 OVR – There were signs of attacking flair at Anfield last week but Norwich burst into life against Newcastle on Saturday, with Pukki scoring a hat-trick.
- Robert Lewandowski – ST – Bayern Munich – 95 OVR – With two goals, including one from the penalty spot, the Polish striker rescued Bayen a point.
