We have been waiting almost all year, but EA Sports has finally dropped the TOTW upgrade SBCs in FIFA 19, and they’re great value. Thankfully, there’s two of them too, tradeable 84+ and untradeable 81+, which will make icon SBCs a lot cheaper. Here’s everything you need to know about how to complete the TOTW 81+ and 84+ Upgrade SBCs in FIFA 19 (FUTTIES Release).
It’s a huge surprise how cheap these are, especially the 84+ tradeable one. Yes, it’ll see the prices of 83/84 cards shoot up, and TOTW cards crash, but they’re still good value. Here are the requirements for both SBCs in FIFA 19.
81+ TOTW (Untradeable) Requirements
- Team Overall Rating: Min. 81
- Team Chemistry: Min. 30
84+ TOTW (Tradeable) Requirements
- Team Overall Rating: Min. 83
- Team Chemistry: Min. 20
Tips to Complete the 81+ & 84+ Upgrade SBCs (FUTTIES Release) in FIFA 19
For the 81+ TOTW SBC, the best thing to do would be to stick with 81 rated players, since everything that’s 82, 83, and 84 rated has shot up in price in FIFA 19 due to the other TOTW SBC.
Avoiding high rated players should keep the price down. You don’t need to stick to any league either or be precise with positioning since you only need 30 chemistry.
For the 84+ TOTW SBC, expect to spend quite a bit more. 82s are up to 3k coins each and 83s are at 4k and rising quickly. If you’ve got stuff in your club, feel free to use that, but be prepared to spend a lot if you’re buying players off the market.
Just like for the other SBC, you don’t need to stick to positions or league, since you need even less chemistry.
What might be a good tactic would be to put all you low rated golds into the UCL Upgrade SBC, since you’re quite likely to hit a player who’s 82+, and you’ll then be able to put them into the TOTW SBC.
It might work out cheaper, in the end, to do it that way than to buy all the players.
Update: 83s are up towards 7k each now, so they might not be good value any more.
