How to Complete FUT Champions Upgrade SBCs in FIFA 19
For the first time in FIFA 19, EA Sports has added new permanent SBCs to the Upgrade section of the Squad Building Challenges section of Ultimate team. Here’s everything you need to know about how to complete the FUT Champions Upgrade SBCs in FIFA 19.
You know all of those worthless red in-forms that you’ve got from FUT Champions rewards since the game launched (if you haven’t used them all in other SBCs and have none left like me), well they now have a purpose.
There are two new SBCs that allow you to trade them in to get others that are potentially better. The requirements for each are:
FUT Champions Upgrade
- FIFA 19 FUT Champions Players: Exactly 5
- Players: Exactly 5
For this Upgrade SBC, all you need is five FUT Champions players, they can be any rating at all. You get a player pick pack that allows you to choose between three 83-86 rated Champs players.
Premium Upgrade
- FIFA 19 FUT Champions Players: Exactly 11
- Team Overall Rating: Min. 81
- Team Chemistry: Min. 20
- Number of Players in Squad: Exactly 11
This FUT Champions Upgrade SBC is a little tougher, and not just because you need 11 players rather than five. The chemistry isn’t an issue, but since you need 81 team rating, you can’t use really poor FUT Champions red cards, such as silvers and low rated golds, not unless you’re willing to part with some other high rated ones.
You get a three player pick pack including 86+ rated players as the reward.
Also, if you’ve not got enough right now, you’ll need to hit Gold level in FIFA 19’s Weekend League for six more weeks to get the 11 you need at the right rating. Thankfully, the SBCs are here for the rest of the game’s cycle.
