Starting the Main Quest in FFXIV Endwalker

If you’ve been binging the post-Shadowbringers quests in an effort to catch up with the story in time for Endwalker, you should already know how to start the main story: head to the Rising Stones.

Teleport over to Mor Dhona, then head into the inn and interact with the door to enter the Rising Stones. Speak with Alphinaud, and you’ll be able to accept a brand new quest that awards you with experience points, some Gil, and a new equipment coffer to help get your iLvl up to speed.

Once you’ve accepted the quest, you simply need to sit through a few cutscenes and follow the objective markers to the Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks, where you’ll board a ship that takes you to Sharlayan. This is where you’ll spend the majority of your time as you make your way through the story content, so get acquainted with your new surroundings.

If you ever get sidetracked and forget where you left off in the story, you can always check the quest title in the top left corner of your screen to see where you are in the main story.

That’s all you need to know about how to start the main quest in FFXIV Endwalker. Be sure to search Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
