How to Beat Mickey & Lou in Far Cry New Dawn
Near the end of the game, you’ll finally face off against Mickey and Lou, the twin villains who have been taunting you for the entire duration of your journey in Far Cry New Dawn. Here’s how to beat Mickey and Lou in Far Cry New Dawn.
What Weapons, Items, and Gun for Hire to Take to Beat Mickey and Lou
First off, preparation is key. I hope you’ve been keeping up with your camp upgrades because you’re going to need them. The most important upgrades you’ll need are for the Workbench. Upgrading it to its highest tier will allow you to craft Elite-tier weapons, which is crucial, because anything below that just won’t cut it.
I recommend picking an Elite-tier assault rifle for the fight, though you can’t go wrong with a large machine gun or grenade launcher as well, if you can carry enough ammo for it. Be sure to stock some smoke grenades, too, as they come in handy managing the twins in this Far Cry New Dawn boss fight.
Aside from that, having some health upgrades would be nice, along with Guns for Hire upgrades if you have enough Ethanol to bring them up to Rank III. You’ll probably want to bring Timber for this fight, as he’ll be able to mark enemies for you.
How to Beat Mickey and Lou in Far Cry New Dawn
At the start of the fight, Lou will start burning things down with her flamethrower, while Mickey snipes from afar. I’ve found that smoke grenades work pretty well here, as Timber can mark Lou for you, and once she’s stunned by the smoke grenade, you can just pelt her with assault rifle bullets safely.
Mickey, on the other hand, might be a little trickier, as she’s perched all the way on the opposite side of the New Eden settlement in Far Cry New Dawn. As you make your way to her, be sure to slide or crouch to avoid getting hit. You’ll be able to climb up the ladder behind the house she’s perched on top of, and toss a smoke grenade before shooting.
The tricky part about this fight is managing the two bosses while also dealing with the rest of the enemy reinforcements. As you continue to deal damage to Mickey and Lou, they’ll call for backup. If Timber’s got his Guard Dog ability, he should be able to stop the dogs from attacking you while you focus on taking down the other enemies.
Throughout the fight with Mickey and Lou, you’ll also want to dart in and out of the various houses to pick up ammo and Medkits. There are also two ammo refill stations in the center of the map, near the main path,
The main thing you need for this fight is that Elite-tier weapon, as anything below that will deal extremely little damage to the bosses, and they’ll even recover health over time, making this fight a massive pain.
