How to Get More Weapon Slots in Far Cry New Dawn

Recommended Videos

As you explore the colorful post-apocalyptic version of Hope County in Far Cry New Dawn, you’re going to come across weapons of all kinds that you’re going to want to add to your loadout, but you’ll be very limited with what you can carry at the start. Here is everything you need to know about how to get more weapon slots in Far Cry New Dawn.

You might want to have weapons of all kinds at your disposal, so that you can approach different enemies in different ways. You’ll need to get more weapon slots, though, so that you can carry an assault rifle, a shotgun, and maybe a grenade launcher at the same time.

You can unlock weapon slots in Far Cry New Dawn by spending perk points which are obtained as you complete missions and challenges in the game. They can also be purchased as microtransactions from the Perks screen by pressing Square on PS4 or X on Xbox One.

To spend them, you need to press the touchpad on PS4 (the View button if you’re playing on Xbox One) and go to the Perks option, where you’ll be able to unlock an extra weapons slot if you have enough perk points available.

You’re able to carry a maximum of four weapons at a time, once you’ve unlocked the required perks. There are two perks to unlock that give you more weapon slots.

The first is ‘Well Armed’, which costs two perk points and allows you to carry a third weapon, and the second is ‘Heavily Armed’ which allows you to carry that final fourth weapon and costs four perk points.

You will then be able to assign four weapons to your loadout, allowing to take either more variety or more firepower out with you on missions in Hope County.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get more weapon slots in Far Cry New Dawn. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our Far Cry New Dawn wiki guide.
