Where the Skunk Location is in Far Cry 5
If you’ve had trouble finding the skunk in Far Cry 5, rest assured that you’re not the only one. That’s why we’re here to help with a guide on where the skunk location is.
One of several animals players can hunt to complete optional side challenges in Far Cry 5, the Skunk is one of the more elusive creatures that inhabit Hope County’s ecosystem.
Some players can go through an entire single-player campaign without seeing one, and as a result, many don’t know where to start looking for one once they’re on the cusp of hunting every animal.
The reason for this is that the skunk can only be found in one region in the entire game, and typically in a very select portion of it at that.
To find the skunk, head into Faith’s region and then make your way Southwest from Rock Bass Lake and to the south of the bridge between the two land masses. Take the road that cuts off of the main highway and continue south.
As you continue down the road, you’ll come to a Skunk Warning sign for the forested area to your left. Head further into this area and you’ll come to a small pool of water.
Head around to the left of this pool and you’ll find another Skunk Warning sign. Head past it into another patch of wooded area and you should find a skunk or two for your troubles.
Note that even in this area Skunks still have a generally low spawn rate. If you startle a skunk and it gets away, you may have to leave the area to get one to spawn again.
Hopefully, this helps you figure out where the skunk location is. Far Cry 5 is currently available on PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. For more on the title, check out our review.
