How to Play Arcade Single-Player & What it Is in Far Cry 5

Recommended Videos

Far Cry 5 brings the franchise to the rocky mountain ranges and open terrain of Montana, though still keeps the bombastic action and gun-toting fanatics. The latest entry brings an updated gameplay mode called Arcade.

Arcade mode allows players to create playable custom maps and missions using assets from Far Cry 5 and other Ubisoft games, such as Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. The map editor has been featured in Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4, but in limited capacities. Far Cry 5’s edition allows single-player, cooperative, and competitive maps.

There are multiple ways to access Arcade mode. The quickest method is to press the Start/Options button, scroll over to the Multiplayer tab in the menu with the RB/R1 shoulder buttons, and select Arcade. The other two ways to access the mode in-game is by interacting with posters randomly placed around the world or through the arcade machines located in bars.

Pick a map or mission in the menu and that is it. As long as your session is set to private, no one else can join you for co-op or competitive.

That is what the new Arcade mode is and how to play it only single-player in the game. Check back with Twinfinite for more Far Cry 5 coverage and our extensive wiki for more guides.
