How to Access Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs Content in Far Cry 5

Recommended Videos

Far Cry 5 isn’t the first game in the series to feature a map editing mode, but this time around it’s by far and away the deepest and most impressive version we’ve seen so yet. A huge part of the appeal is that players will be able to import assets from other Ubisoft franchises to create their own custom levels. This includes being able to insert content from games like Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs into your bespoke Far Cry levels.

To do so, press the touchpad to open up your menu when you’ve loaded your Far Cry 5 single-player campaign. Use R1 (or RB for your Xbox One owners) to scroll across to the Online menu, and then select the Arcade option. From here, load up the Arcade Editor.

Now, you can either create new maps or edit your own favorites or existing maps you’ve made. To access the Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs content, you’ll need to press and hold L1 (LB on Xbox One) to open the Toolbox and then go to the Add New Objects option at the top. Scroll down and you’ll find Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, and a bunch of old Far Cry game stuff here too. Time to get those creative juices flowing!
