Fallout 76: Can You Play Single Player? What You Need to Know

Single Player in Fallout 76

Recommended Videos

Fallout 76 got announced by Bethesda and fans’ interest was peaked. When E3 rolled around and they started up their conference, we knew a ton more about the game that night. It’s a full-fledged multiplayer, online experience where players will have to survive the wasteland. There’s a big theme of not going about it alone, but what if you want to? What if you want to play single player? Well, here’s your answer.

Fallout 76 can definitely be played completely single player. You don’t have to team up with anyone. Heck, you don’t even need to make alliances out there. Destroy everything and everybody if you want!

The game will be harder, though, if you’re out there all alone. This is only natural since online games tend to be easier with others watching your back. But no, you won’t be forced to play in a group.

Also, the map is apparently 4 times the size of Fallout 4’s. So while you’ll always know that there will always be 24 other players in your server, you likely won’t even run into them. And, even if you do, you don’t need to work with them at all! The choice is yours.

Hopefully that helped answer your question about single player in Fallout 76. If you need more help with the game, though, let us know down in the comments below!
