Elder Scrolls Online: How to Respec Your Character

Respec Your Character in Elder Scrolls Online

Recommended Videos

While it certainly had a rocky start, Elder Scrolls Online has since gone on to become a successful and popular MMORPG. For fans of the Elder Scrolls series it provides a long-awaited chance to explore the lands, go on quests, and get that classic Bethesda Elder Scrolls fix with friends. Though like any MMO, it’s very easy to mis-allocate your stats and suffer for it in the long run. Thankfully, ESO gives players a chance to respec whenever they want, provided they have the gold for it.

Elder Scrolls Online features what’s known as Rededication Shrines wherein players can trade in gold to reallocate attributes or skills. Doing so will require a lump sum payment of 100 gold per attribute or point. So for an example, should you have 20 attribute points you want to rearrange, it will cost you 2,000 gold.

Provided you have the gold, all you need to do is find one of the game’s Rededication Shrines. For Aldmeri Dominion players, go to Elden Root, Grahtwood and you can find the Shrine to Stendarr just East of the wayshrine. Players in the Daggerfall Covenant can go to the Shrine to Stendarr, in Wayrest, Stormhaven right on the West side of the city. Lastly, Ebonheart Pact players need to go for the Shrine to Stuhn right in the center of Mournhold, Deshaan.

So long as you have the money, you can then respec your character at any of the three shrines. For more guides and help, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
