Elder Scrolls Online: How to Become a Werewolf

How to Become a Werewolf in Elder Scrolls Online

Recommended Videos

Being a Werewolf in Elder Scrolls titles is fun, and Elder Scrolls Online is no exception. There’s something about unleashing your newfound insane strength on your victims that’s just incredibly satisfying. You can’t just become a Werewolf whenever you want, though, you’ll need to contract Sanies Lupinus.

In order to contract this disease, you’ll need to be bitten by a Werewolf NPC. A number of players have suggested checking out Reaper’s March, Bangkorai, or The Rift in order to locate rare monster spawns. Unfortunately, the spawn frequency for Werewolves is unknown, so you’ll just have to keep checking back every so often.

Alternatively, you can get a fellow Elder Scrolls Online player who is already a Werewolf to infect you. They’ll need to be at least level 7 in the skill line and have the “Bloodmoon” ability. If they’ve got this, simply head to your closest Werewolf Shrine in Elder Scrolls Online. It’s worth noting that the Bloodmoon ability does have a seven-day cooldown, so if there is a group of you hoping to become Werewolves in quick succession, you’ll each need another player to infect you.

Once you’ve been infected with Sanies Lupinus, all you need to do is start and complete the Hircine’s Gift quest and you’ll have successfully completed your transformation.

That’s all you need to know to make your transformation in Elder Scrolls Online a success. Happy hunting!
