How to Lock On to Enemies in Dynasty Warriors 9

Recommended Videos

Dynasty Warriors 9 has a ton of calamity all around as you face hordes of enemies throughout feudal China. With fights featuring so many enemies at once, it can get hectic and confusing while you’re just trying to defeat a commander. Luckily, Dynasty Warriors 9 has a lock on feature that will let you zero in on just them if you wanted to. Here’s how.

Whenever you’re ready to have your character lock onto just one commander, press in the right thumbstick, or R3 as it’s known in gaming. You’ll see a white square on the enemy that your sights are on. Don’t worry about this getting some random peon, it only works with important enemies. This makes the camera face them, but your character will still need to be maneuvered to appropriately attack them. At least this method makes this easier, though.

Also, note that moving too close and away from someone else will cause the lock on to change to the closest commander near you. This can get kind of annoying if there are two that are close to one another, but it’s otherwise good for other types of fights.

That’s about all there is to locking onto enemies in Dynasty Warriors 9! If you need any other help with the game, be sure to leave a comment down below and we’ll do our best to help you out.
