For its anticipated sequel, Techland has upped the scale and density of the open-world city with even more locations to explore. Scattered across this dilapidated metropolis is all manner of loot, from weapons and consumables to crafting parts and herbs. Some are laying in plain sight, while others require a bit more digging to uncover. Here’s everything you need to know about Dying Light 2 military convoys, including what they are, how to scavenge them, and what loot you can get.
Dying Light 2 Military Convoys Explained: What They Are, How to Scavenge & What Loot You Can Get
As you might have guessed from the introduction above, Dying Light 2’s military convoys are loot hotspots. Here you will find loot of various different rarity values, which tend to increase based on the level of the location. To check the level, open your map using the touchpad/options menu button and hover over the area marked ‘Military Convoy.’
At every military convoy location you will find one or two army trucks and possibly police cars that contain loot. The loot is typically found in the trunk/rear compartment, which requires a lockpick to open. The higher the level of difficulty, the harder the lockpick. Further, the more infected there are surrounding the convoy that you will need to take out.
Lower-level convoys should be easy enough to loot without killing all the infected nearby, but obviously harder lockpicks take more time and that means you’ll need to deal with any enemies nearby first.
What Loot Is Found at Military Convoys? Answered
There’s no hard and fast rule as to what sort of loot you’ll find at military convoy locations. As you can see in the above image, this particular level 2 spot yielded a Torch and some crafting parts. At others, we’ve found high-grade weapons, medkits, and outfits. Again, the general rule of thumb is that the harder the difficulty the better gear you’ll find.
