With such an enormous world to explore and so much content to sink your teeth into, chances are trophy and achievement hunters around the world are already asking whether or not there’s a Dying Light 2 difficulty trophy and achievement that they’ll need to consider when starting their new game.
A difficulty trophy is one that is tied to beating the game (or a series of missions) at a set difficulty level. So, for example, you might need to beat the entire game on hard difficulty in order to unlock a Gold trophy or an achievement with a ton of Gamerscore tied to it.
Is There a Difficulty Trophy in Dying Light 2?
The good news is that no, there isn’t a difficulty trophy in Dying Light 2.
That being said, there are some trophies that might be fairly difficult to unlock, but as you can change the difficulty down to ‘Easy’ at any time to make things easier, they should still be fairly manageable.
Most notably, players will need to find all collectible notes (Archivist) and all collectible recordings (Audiophile) if they’re looking to get the Platinum trophy or all 1000 Gamerscore. Given the size of the world and the sheer amount of hiding places, these could be tucked away in, this could take some serious time.
Elsewhere, you’ll need to complete all the Nightrunner Trials (True Nightrunner), achieve maximum Parkour and Combat Proficiency (Parkour Master and Combat Master respectively), and defeat all GRE Anomalies (Revenants), all of which will take some serious time to achieve.
