After nearly a year in early access, Media Molecule’s Dreams launched fully this month. While creation is the name of the game, a lot of players might want to jump into the levels that people have made themselves. In case you want to return to your favorites, here’s everything you need to know about whether you can download levels in Dreams.
In the Dream Surfing section of Dreams, you can look through all the game creations that have been made so far, sorting by the most popular, the ones made by your friends, and the new ones. Some will be great, some not so much.
It’s cool to be able to go back to them, to try them yourself after updates or to show friends that want to play them.
Can You Download Levels in Dreams?
In short, you cannot download levels in Dreams. You cannot add them to your PS4 hard drive so that you can play them later without having to be online or even have the game.
However, there is a way to make levels easier to find if you want to go back to them again.
If you select the Thumb Up icon at the bottom of the screen when you’re on the main screen of a level, it’ll be added to a list of your liked levels.
To then see them again, head to the top of the page and then click on search.
Then, on the categories on the left, you can select My Thumbed Up, which will then only show the levels you’ve liked in the scrolling menu at the bottom.
Then, just look for the level you want to go back to and jump into playing it again.
That’s everything you need to know about whether you can download levels in Dreams. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite, where you’ll find some more guides.
