Recommended Videos

Dragon Quest XI sees players embarking on an epic quest with a hero who’s not only got the classic mysterious fate to live up to but a whole bunch of people after him, too. You’ll travel through towns oozing with character, fight epic monsters in satisfying turn-based combat, and probably just take in the game’s charming visuals when you’ve got time for a break. While you’re able to change the name of the protagonist, some may be wondering if you can change their appearance, including their hairstyle.

Unfortunately, there’s no way you can change the physical appearance of the protagonist in Dragon Quest XI, and that includes their hairstyle. Yep, that means you’ll be stuck with their long, silky, blonde locks for the entirety of the game. Sorry if you were hoping to don a red mohawk or something, instead!

Though this may come as disappointing news, don’t let it dishearten you from Dragon Quest XI too much. We were really big fans of the game, and would heartily recommend it to RPG fans.

That’s all you need to know regarding whether or not it’s possible to change your hairstyle in Dragon Quest XI. Sorry to be the bearers of bad news this time around, but be sure to check out our wiki for more tips, tricks, and information on the game.
